Barcode can be assigned to a Pack
From build 404 you can now assign a barcode to a stock item which is maintained as a Pack (set combination of colours/sizes).
Excluding Freight from Sales Commission Calculations
You can set a default sales analysis code for freight and any other stock items which is useful if you want to avoid paying sales commissions on freight.
Viewer
The Viewer within Matrix allows you to view at a glance, stock on hand, quantities due in from suppliers, and due out to Customers, and what's available to sell. From build 403 onwards the location of the viewer can be set or reset from the Utilities/Options menu.
Blocking Out Inactive Cells
You can block out individual cells in a colour/size grid to eliminate the chance of operators selecting products you no longer sell.
Adding Costs to Transferred Stock
You can add costs such as customs duty to a style at the time of transferring stock from a Bond Store to a Free Store. To do so, enter a value in the "Transfer Rate %" field and select an appropriate General Ledger account.
MatServe Shutting Down
To avoid MatServe shutting down at irregular times, configure your Anti-virus software to exclude scanning files with the following file extensions: DBF, CDX, FPT and DBC.
Work with 1 Season
You can view a single season of stock by clicking on Default in the Season Maintenance screen. To see all stock uncheck that option.
Special Prices
Both special sell and buy prices can be set within each Style as well as each Customer or Supplier. Prices can be set to kick in based on quantities and range of dates. Most special prices set in the base accounting system can also be recognised by Matrix.
