Introduction to Sybiz Vision is a practical, hands-on course that is designed to benefit both new and experienced customers of Sybiz Vision. New customers will gain an understanding of the functions, features and benefits of the software. Experienced customers will discover many capabilities of the software that can save them time and assist them to gain more knowledge on the use of the software to deliver the best results for their business.
All students will gain an understanding of how they can extend the power of Sybiz Vision by an introduction to vertical solution modules such as Bill of Materials, Point of Sale and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
Entrance Requirements: The student must be computer literate; have a good understanding of basic accounting principles; and must have knowledge on Microsoft Windows.
Duration: Seven-hour session including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Cost: $715.00 per person (inc. GST).

- Getting started
- Tips and tricks of the Sybiz Vision’s menu system and how to become more efficient in navigating through the product
- Creating a company database. Explains how various choices affect the behaviour of the Sybiz Vision database.
- Overview of Sybiz Vision modules: A functional overview of each core module within Sybiz Vision.
- Reporting power: Identify what reports exist within Sybiz Vision and how to use the reported information.
- Sybiz Vertical Solutions: A brief overview of Bill of Materials (BOM), Point of Sale (POS) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management.
- Entrance Requirements: The student must be computer literate; have a good understanding of basic accounting principles; and must have knowledge on Microsoft Windows.

Sybiz Vision Intermediate Training
Intermediate Sybiz Vision is a course designed to give existing customers of Sybiz Vision a greater understanding of the capabilities offered in the product. Students will receive extensive knowledge on how to exploit the power of Sybiz Vision to improve their business systems. The course clearly explains the GST and end-of-year processes for Sybiz Vision and how the software integrates with Microsoft Word® and Excel®.
Entrance Requirements: The student must be computer literate; have a good understanding of basic accounting principles; and must have worked on Sybiz Vision or attended the Introduction to Sybiz Vision course.
Duration: Seven-hour session including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Cost: $715.00 per person (inc. GST).
Course Overview:
- Period processing: Learn the differences between next period processing and future-dated processing.
- New Period rollover: An outline of the process involved and how this affects a company’s data.
- GST & BAS: Explore the difference between accounting periods and tax periods, identify how Sybiz Vision determines how to treat each transaction and identify some of the issues that can complicate the BAS process.
- End-of-Year procedure: An overview of the process with reference to the new period rollover.
- Importing and exporting: Utilise Microsoft Word® and Excel® to unlock even more functionality in Sybiz Vision.
- Forms Editor and Report Writer: Discover the scope of these two products and how to create value added information.
- Recalculating and reindexing: An explanation of what these utilities do and when they may be necessary.
- Database housekeeping: Identify what should be considered when performing "housekeeping" and what features exist to make the customer’s life easier?

Sybiz Vision Advanced Training
Advanced Sybiz Vision is the next step. This course is designed for experienced Sybiz Vision customers who wish to gain additional skills. Combining details of front-end features, behind-the-scenes information and extension skills makes this an essential course for Sybiz Vision power-users. This course delivers great value to managing the installation, maintenance and optimisation of Sybiz Vision. It also provides clear guidance for when to use in-house support and when you need assistance from your Sybiz Business Partner.
Entrance Requirements: The student must be computer literate; have a good understanding of basic accounting principles; and must have worked on Sybiz Vision or attended the Intermediate Sybiz Vision course.
Duration: Seven-hour session including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

- Synchronise Sybiz Vision with Microsoft Outlook®: What is required and what are the benefits.
- Querying with Microsoft Access®: Learn how to configure a link with Microsoft Access®, simple querying and outputting to Microsoft Excel®
- The DUPE model for identifying solutions: Use the DUPE model to narrow down the cause of any issues that may arise.
